About Us
Welcome to Knox Church. At Knox we want to provide a place which allows people to experience the transforming love of Jesus, and all that means for their life. This experience may happen on a Sunday at one of our three services – 9.00am, 10.30am & 7.00pm – or at the youth and children’s activities, or it may happen at one of the many activities that occur either here at Knox or in our people’s homes, throughout the week.
While Knox has ‘been around’ for over 155 years and has great traditions around its music and youth activities, more than ever today we want to ‘be real’ with the community around us. We look to provide relevant activities for all ages in a fun and innovative way without detracting from the message contained in God’s Word – the Bible.
We have a strong ‘home group’ / ’small group’ ministry where people meet during the week to support and encourage each other plus study God’s Word. We have programmes designed to meet your needs, spiritual or in life, such as ‘Alpha’, ‘The Marriage Course’, ‘DivorceCare’, ‘Journeys’ etc.
There are groups who meet because they share similar life situations – single parents; those who live on their own. The aim in all of this is to provide a place for you (and your family) in the church community that is Knox.
