Seniors Christmas Lunch
Friday 2 December starting with Communion service. at 11am followed by lunch in the Café. Please RSVP to the office by 28 November to the office. Koha appreciated.
Community Christmas Dinner
Christmas Dinner happens at 12.30pm on Christmas Day. As mentioned in the services last week, if you would like to sponsor someone, please take a Christmas card from the box in the foyer, write a greeting and your name and include $10 per card. The sum will cover the cost on a guest attending.
For other ways you can help eg on the day, cooking, heping set up or clean up afterwards, contact the office.
Men’s Ministry
End of Year Event, Sat 3 Dec, 1:30pm, at the Rifle Range at Rimutaka Incline, for 18yrs and over. $20 for the 1st round of shooting, $10 additional rounds. Followed by BBQ tea. Registration required to reserved your spot at the bench –contact the office
A Big Thank You

Exciting News.....
The second edition of Jocelyn's first book "Windows on Widowhood" has just been released. Written after her late husband Alan died of Acute Leukaemia Jocelyn wrote meditations on the widows in the book of Ruth intertwined with her own experiences of God's faithfulness during her 10years of widowhood. This second edition has an added Epilogue which tells of her meeting and marrying Rev. Len Currie, also questions for Study groups at the end of each chapter.
